CLINT GIMA

Clint Gima, Maui High School's Digital Media teacher continues to impact students beyond the classroom. He passed away on June 29, 2023, from complication of a brain aneurysm. His dedication to his work as a Digital Media Educator inspired and motivated students to strive for excellence and professionalism in the field of digital media. Mr. Gima motivated his students to create media that not only conveyed a story but inspired an audience to make a change.

Dr. Miyasato saw a need for more opportunities for aspiring healthcare professionals to learn about the healthcare industry. Together, alongside Mr. Gima, they assembled a team of digital media students and future healthcare professionals to create a website that educates aspiring healthcare workers. Mr. Gima guided his students to film, direct, and edit videos that showcased various healthcare careers available to students. His commitment to teaching creative media can be seen throughout the quality of his students' work. Mr. Gima will always be remembered for his remarkable impact and positive influence on his students. Our team is forever grateful for Mr. Gima's wisdom and willingness to help create an educational outlet that will continue to impact and inspire many healthcare professionals to come.
