ABOUT US
We are a group of medical professionals, high school educators, and students on Maui that have recognized the need for more opportunities for high school and college students to learn about healthcare jobs in Hawaiʻi. Our mission is to expose students to the breadth of healthcare careers in local clinics and help them make an informed decision about their career path.

We offer interactive simulations that invite students to follow patients with different medical problems through the clinic. Students see the patient interact with a host of healthcare workers—doctors, nurses, technologists, pharmacists, therapists, physician and medical assistants, and clerical staff—and are asked to give a diagnosis of the patient at the end. To learn about each healthcare profession, students can visit the career center to hear from real-life professionals in HawaiÊ»i about their career journeys.

Our hope is that the program will inspire students to explore the health field further through clinical opportunities and educational programs, eventually becoming HawaiÊ»i’s next generation of healthcare heroes.
